A Black Swan in Bayeux, France . . . giving me some serious stink-eye.
Our theme for the Weekly Photo Challenge this week is: Eye Spy.
Our instructions: This week, take “eye” as your inspiration. This is a great opportunity to photograph people or pets, but remember — eye has lots of other potential meanings, too.
I took this photo outside of our hotel (Château de Bellefontaine) in Bayeux, France. They had a lovely lake on the property, home to several pairs of swans, and more different varieties of ducks than I’ve ever seen in one place at the same time.
But I don’t think Monsieur Swan much liked me taking his picture. Just look at his eyes — that stare could bore a hole into the side of a rock! Lesson of the Day: Never challenge a black swan to a staring contest.
Salud!
He was probably upset because you interrupted his yoga.
