Aperol Spritz Recipe With Prosecco and Vodka

Aperol Spritz is a popular Italian cocktail that’s just perfect for happy hour. This rhubarb-based Italian aperitif is not only gorgeous, but it also works wonders for spicing up a number of traditional cocktails. And vodka gives this spritz more kick.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • Splash of club soda about 1 ounce per drink
  • Splash of fresh grapefruit or orange juice optional
  • Grapefruit or orange peel twist for garnish

Method
 

  1. Pour the vodka and Aperol into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake well.
  2. Fill a large wine glass or rocks cocktail glass with a couple of ice cubes. Add the Aperol-vodka combination.
  3. Pour club soda and Prosecco on top.
  4. If desired, add some garnish to the cocktail.
