Today’s words come to us from French actor and comedian, Louis de Funès. Funès was very popular in France in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He played over 200 film and stage roles during his career, none of which I have ever heard of . . . because I am not French.
Fun Fact: The main antagonist in the Disney movie, Ratatouille (which I have not only heard of, but seen), Chef Skinner, was loosely based on Louis de Funès.
Today’s words made me smile. For maximum effect, read them in an outrageous French accent:
Here’s to wine and friendship. Salud!
