Photography 101, Day 8: The Natural World

Today’s assignment is: The Natural World.  We’re supposed to capture the natural world — document a moment outside.  We’re to look for lines, and then either apply or break the Rule of Thirds.

I’m a big believer that there’s beauty in your own backyard, so that’s exactly where I went to take this photo.

I tried to apply the Rule of Thirds.  Bonus: I captioned my photo with some of my favorite words.
