Our theme for the Weekly Photo Challenge this week is: It IS Easy Being Green.
Our instructions: This week, we celebrate a color . . . green!
I’ve never been a fan of the color green. My grandmother used to wear a noxious, cheap perfume called Emeraude, which was a putrid, Mr. Yuk green color. I can’t even think about that perfume without shuddering. That smell, along with the color green, became repellant for me. I was always the one who got pinched on St. Patrick’s Day because I wasn’t wearing green. I don’t own anything green. I’m trying to think of a color that looks worse than green on me . . . mustard yellow, maybe.
Mother Nature, though — she looks like a goddess in green.
I took this photo at Shenandoah National Park. Winter is finally starting to make way for Spring!
Salud!
I agree. Leave green to where Mother Nature intended. I don’t wear green either, and if I did it would be an unmentionable! Cheers.
