Our theme for the Weekly Photo Challenge this week is: Dense.
Our instructions: This week, let’s get into the thick of things — show us your take on dense.
I took this photo in Paris at the Pont de l’Archeveche, near the Notre Dame Cathedral. The locks on that bridge were so dense and heavy that the Paris city council had them removed (from this and other bridges throughout the city).
I always kind of liked the locks . . . they’re an art form of their own. But I get it. The weight and strain of hundreds of thousands of locks on the bridges makes them structurally unsafe. And I prefer my bridges safe.
Salud!
Incredible number of them! I have locks also on a bridge in my town – Gliwice – but not in such a quantity 🙂

The locks seem to be a worldwide phenomenon . . . they are pretty in a way, but I understand the dangers, too. Cheers, Awa!
